ISLINGTON AGE CONCERN OVER 50'S FESTIVAL

25th June 2004 at the Rocket Complex on Holloway Road N7 , a state of the art venue, will play host to this exciting Festival for the first time. Now in its 6th year, an event which attracts over 4000 people aged 50+!

At the start of the event in return for signing in; we are giving everyone a plastic bag with goodies and information inside. I would like of money off vouchers and free samples in these bags. Would you be able to help us with this? In return we could advertise something in our programme which will be sent to over 7000 people. Any other ideas welcome.

40,027 people living in Islington are aged 50+ (2001 census a number which is steadily increasing), many of whom play an active part in their local community and have money to spend.

The Festival's theme will be active citizenship , a celebration of the over 50's involvement with their local community, through volunteering & education, and with an emphasis on the social & leisure reclaiming the shops, bars and restaurants of trendy Islington for those over 50!

Exhibitors will include local and national businesses, the police, Islington council, and colleges - with a wide range of stalls promoting new products, health & leisure services, crime prevention and energy efficiency. The spirit of the day will be on participation and fun. All of which will be advertised extensively in local and national press.
